Once again Istituto di Moda Burgo took part in Fashion Graduate Italia, an event dedicated to fashion students in Italy, who had the opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity, at Base Milano.

The 7th edition took place from 24 to 26 October: three days of fashion shows, exhibitions, talks, masterclasses, workshops and job placements.

Below the collections of IMB students:

Ilaria Guida created a neo-romantic capsule with ruffles and structured clothes that remind us of the past, even though with a contemporary interpretation, characterized by the contrast between pastel and fluo colours.

Claudia Fasciana’s collection is characterized by transparency, embroidered bustiers and precious stones on clothes that envelop the silhouette. Neutral colors contrast bright ones.

Minimalism and elegant lines meet an ancestral dimension that remind us of Greek goddesses in the collection designed by FenFen Hu and Valentina Vergani. Their creation are a perfect combination of fluidity and oriental sensuality.

Conceptualism meets street in Lucrezia Cappella’s collection: she uses leather with fluo details, large pockets, structured volumes and geometric cuts.

Plastic fabrics meet nature in a combination of flowery fantasies that remind of plants and of the texture of trees. Black, geometry and volumes are the star of a collection that express originality and experimentation. Collection by  Behnoosh Lavaei

Giulia Tambosco’s collection plays with a medieval past represented by structured gorgets that are perfectly combined with bustiers and small trims. Her creations put together the aesthetic of the past with a contemporary one and this contrast is used to highlight femininity. We are free to have our own ideas on beauty and or own aesthetics.: this is the message that

Enrico Tondelli’s genderless collection combines tailored male clothes together with fluidity and sensuality thus creating a symphony of colors and geometric cuts that express the desire to be free to have our own ideas and or own aesthetics: beauty is love, but mostly it is accepting yourself and the others.

For his collection, Andrea Costi plays with the fluidity of fabrics with creations that are characterized by neutral colors and sensual transparencies. Rich embroideries are the strength of this capsule collection.
