About the Program

Moulage is a technique where you can build a garment directly on the dummy. After the garment has been constructed on a mannequin, it will be stitched directly or transferred into a flat pattern. This technique helps to achieve a more temporary style. Through this course, you will gain knowledge of how to work with fabric, how to “listen” to the fabric, and handling it to achieve the best shape of the garment. Here in Burgo Indonesia, you will be introduced to work professionally with couture fashion house standards through all the procedures.

  • Presentation of the course, equipment, measuring the dummy, demarcation line, preparation of the muslin. Realisation of the basic skirt.
  • Realisation of the Circle skirt in bias
  • Realisation of the basic dress with darts
  • Realisation of the shirt with button placket and sleeve
  • Realisation of bustier
  • Realisation of the bustier with bra cup
  • Draping chosen teddy with circle skirt
  • Freestyle Draping

  • Moulage tape/Black ribbon
