About the Program

Fashion is not only about the garment, but now it has developed into a form of self-expression. It is an art portrayed through a design. In achieving this, you will gain knowledge of all bases and techniques of drawing with all elements to create as real an illustration as possible. You will learn how to develop your idea into a collection through fashion illustration, quick sketch, and technical drawings. All these techniques will later be applied for you to be free to express your idea and creativity through your design with no limit. During this Fashion Design Program you will engage in practical exercises, creating hundreds of drawings and different types of collections. Here in Burgo Indonesia, you not only learn classic hand-drawn illustration but we are also adapting with the newest technology and providing you with digital drawing techniques to prepare you for the future of fashion.

The primary goal of the course is to offer complete professional training through a personalised curriculum. To ensure that we deliver the best teaching method for our students, we teach using our one-on-one method where students are privately mentored by our instructors. Students will gain experience through tasks, projects and presentations. You will get a personal guide and feedback through each project to ensure the best development of your skills. Our courses are very practical encompassing 80% practice and 20% theory.

Adapting to the new normal, we provide a Virtual Learning Experience method through our remote classes.

This course is perfect for those who wish to gain knowledge in design and concept, very suitable for beginner students, fashion enthusiasts, fashion designers, fashion illustrators, pattern makers, and dressmakers who want to enhance their skills. This course is very welcoming for beginners with no background in fashion who want to explore their creativity and gain new skills.

Through this course we are providing you with Burgo’s one-on-one method where you will be guided and mentored personally by our expert instructors. Our system includes an exclusive didactic program supported by our Burgo books: “IL FIGURINO di Moda” issued by IMB headquarters in Milan Italy.
